They said we’d have computers long....
Before they came about....
And now they’re here, I’m skeptical....
At info they put out....
Computers do fantastic things....
And do them all so well....
But don’t take them for granted, ‘cause....
What they are told, they tell....
One never can exactly guess....
How history unfolds....
Computers would fare even worse....
At what the future holds....
If asked, one hundred years ago....
They would predict, I’m sure....
So many horse-drawn carriages....
We’d sink in horse manure....
