If I were to be allowed to create the perfect person to share my life
with me...
I would begin by compelling a personality – second to none – to
materialize, adding a disposition that seemingly would care for everyone,
sprinkling it with durability and tenderness, and wrapping it with
unbelievable patience.
Two sparkling bright eyes would then be placed on top so the world
could see inside, for itself, the same love that she sees when she looks at
the outside world.
The face would be so radiant that would surround the eyes, to reflect
the understanding that helps resolve the problems of those who share.
Glorious, shining hair would halo the face.
Insert, please, two lips to fascinate me in love or language, and a
voice that neither rises in anger nor diminishes in respect.
Add a lovely body that will remain lovely, throughout the bearing of
my children, or working long hours at my side, and legs and feet that will
allow her to walk with me as I strugg1e to find my place in this world.
Two arms that can shut out the noise and stress of the outside world
by a simple encirclement are necessary, and these can each be tipped
with hands that contain miracles in their touch, to be proven each day of
our lives.
In the middle of all this, I would place a heart; a normal sized heart
that somehow could contain complete love, not only an undeserving
amount for me, but enough for every living creature on earth, who will
know that she loves them, through an unseen network of
communication.
And I would give her a name...
I would call her – Jennie.
